Lemon Verbena Basil
Wheat
Make this beer if you
like: Citrus. Herbaceous notes.
Thinking outside the box.
Like chamomile, lemon verbena is often used in tea. It has a nice hint of citrus without too much
sour bite. We realize that basil may
seem like a strange addition to beer, but we’re big fans of a savory ingredient
in brews and thought the spice of basil would complement the lemon verbena
notes. We’re also using a pretty hip hop
in this beer. Sorachi Ace is known for
its high alpha acid content and its intense lemony attributes. We love how it works with the lemon verbena
in this brew.
